Dustin Chavis serves as Vice President of Henssler Property Management and is an experienced real estate professional specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions, investment analysis, and asset management. With nearly a decade of experience in the real estate industry, Dustin provides clients with strategic guidance throughout the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and management of real estate assets.

 

As Vice President, Dustin oversees a diverse portfolio of multifamily, residential, and commercial properties while leading acquisition and asset management initiatives throughout the Southeast. His extensive experience evaluating property performance, analyzing market trends, underwriting investment opportunities, and managing real estate assets allows him to help buyers, sellers, investors, and property owners make informed decisions that maximize value and long-term returns.

 

Dustin works closely with clients throughout every stage of the real estate transaction process, including property valuation, market analysis, contract negotiation, due diligence, financing considerations, investment strategy, and closing coordination. Whether assisting first-time buyers, seasoned investors, commercial clients, or property owners looking to expand or reposition their portfolios, he is committed to providing expert guidance and exceptional service from contract to closing.

 

His background in property operations and financial management gives clients a distinct advantage when evaluating opportunities. Dustin understands not only how to buy and sell real estate, but also how properties perform as long-term investments. His experience reviewing operating statements, capital improvement plans, rent rolls, budgets, and asset performance enables him to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and help clients achieve their financial objectives.

 

Prior to joining Henssler Property Management, Dustin held leadership positions with one of the nation’s Top 50 multifamily management firms, where he managed luxury apartment communities, oversaw large operating budgets, and trained teams across multiple markets. Following Henssler Property Management’s acquisition of Magnolia Preserve Apartments in Dothan, Alabama, he was retained as Community Manager and quickly advanced into executive leadership. He later served as Regional Director, overseeing more than 500 multifamily units across Georgia and Alabama before being promoted to Vice President.

 

Today, Dustin leverages his expertise in real estate transactions, investment properties, multifamily housing, commercial assets, and portfolio growth to help clients navigate an increasingly competitive market. His ability to combine transaction expertise with operational insight allows him to provide a comprehensive perspective that extends well beyond the sale.

 

Dustin earned his Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing from Troy University and holds a Georgia Real Estate Salesperson License.
